I really appreciate your efforts to commence the second semester online during this tough moment of your journey of English learning. This global crises is also teaching us a lesson. The lesson is simple and showing that we humans have been learning but didn’t learn much about COVID-19 which is claiming to be the master. I really appreciate your perseverances to stay strong and thoughtful in many domains. This historic moment makes us to mark our historic moment. Our historic moment is this moment that we have to keep swimming in the pool of knowledge with first and second semesters on campus without meeting relatives as usual. You guys are super fantastic and amazing. More grease to your elbows.
The powerful Chinese government is leaving no stone unturned to fight this master and it’s clear that the Chinese government is the master of this master. It’s also the time to mark in history and each of you should also mark in history by changing from foodie to bookie though we can’t find the book to learn about COVID-19. I appreciate you guys to have been learning and living with this epidemic. I believe you will meet your relatives quite soon. Let’s learn and enjoy our second semester in this historic winter and looking forward for the spring. Spring must come after winter. I envy all of you and appreciate all of you these future stars in history. Thanks to all of you. Thanks to all the teachers. Thanks to the Chinese authorities for all the efforts.

感谢你们在这段艰难的时间里，在网上开始第二学期的英语学习旅程。这场全球危机也给我们上了一课，这一课很简单，也很具有启发意义。2019年新型冠状病毒疾病爆发以来，我们还没有完全掌握病毒的情况，我们的生活也受到了新冠病毒的影响。尽管如此，同学们在许多方面表现得非常坚强并善于思考，令我非常欣赏，这一艰难时刻让我们永生难忘。由于新冠疫情，同学们不能回家见到父母，不得不留在校园里继续学习，同学们在学校的表现真是太棒了。大家应该为自己感到自豪！
目前，中国政府正在全力控制病毒的蔓延，很明显，中国政府定会最终战胜新冠病毒，这也必将载入史册中的一页，同学们在这一页中都留下了自己的印记。尽管大家的努力也许不会记载在书本上，但是我知道大家每一个人都在努力做好疫情防控工作。我相信同学们很快就会见到家人。让我们在这个与众不同的冬天一同学习，一同期待春天的到来。冬天来了，春天还会远吗？我钦佩大家，欣赏大家，我相信，大家未来都会有所成就，谢谢同学们的付出！感谢学校所有教职员工的付出！感谢中国各级政府的努力！
